Santos AustraliaEngineering and operations management for the Fletcher Finucane Project. A three-well subsea tie-back to the Modec Venture II FPSO. Three 3500-4000m subsea wells with vertical pilot holes and subsequent development sidetracks were drilled and completed as dual ESP oil producers. All wells were geosteered in the 700m horizontal sections through the reservoir. Initiated the introduction of geosteering with deep resistivity tools and the introduction of Seismic While Drilling. Oil production commenced in May 2013, ahead of schedule and on budget.
